Happy Father’s Day!

Wishing a happy father’s day to the Dads, and to my own Dad of course. My brother didn’t make it up this weekend after all, but they’ll probably come another weekend soon. My brother is a great Dad to his two young girls, but he has a tough act to follow with our Dad. 🙂

I’m getting Cameo onto the site (I hope by Monday) and then I’ll go back to gardenia for a few days because it is high priority with summer upon us. I’m hoping to do two scents based on the work I’ve done for this project: one a more traditional gardenia musk with a musk base, and one that has less musk but is more floral with a light woodsy base. We’ll see…

Happy father’s day weekend!

I’m so glad that Cameo is ready. I loved the earlier versions of this fragrance–I hope the final version retains that “serene” note that I love so much.

    Hi Ann,

I think you last tried 11 or 11A and the final one is almost the same. The opening rose note is softer now but the drydown is about the same. You might want another sample to be safe, but I’m pretty sure since you liked the previous mod you’ll like the final one (it was just a little fine-tuning rather than any major change). Glad you like it! There’s one special musk in there that seems serene to me; I wonder if that is helping create that impression for you, perhaps along with the soft nature of the florals in the drydown. Thanks for stopping by!
