New Review of Jour Ensoleille

Jour Ensoleille is featured today in a beautiful review on the blog EiderdownPress. Thanks so much, Suzanne! It’s very rewarding when my fragrance compositions bring images alive for other people. And as perfume blog readers, we all enjoy sharing the excitement of a new scent discovery. I think you’ll find lots more reviews of interest on Eiderdown Press too. The site has a blog with perfume reviews as well as a store with several books and a selection of perfume decants.

Oh, that’s a beautiful review, Laurie – and she’s quite right!
I still treasure my tiny bottle of the old formula, but the new one is equally gorgeous.

    Hi Tania,

Thank you! Glad you’re enjoying Jour Ensoleille! Suzanne’s reviews are beautiful to read — they are poetic and capture the feelings and inspiration behind the fragrances. Her perfume journal blog is a new discovery for me.

    Hi Laurie,
So glad JE is starting to get mentioned again in the blogosphere. Definitely a favorite of mine. I’m hoping it will be regarded as suitable for the spring. I made a tiny sample for a friend last weekend and she practically swooned over the smell!

Hi Ann, thanks! My favorite time for JE is late summer and early fall because of the mossy/woodsy base, but the floral heart is more spring/summer so it probably crosses seasons fairly well. Glad you’re enjoying it. 🙂
