Review of Incense Pure on NST

Just a quick post to say there’s a nice review of Incense Pure on Now Smell This today. Thanks, Robin! People seem in agreement that IP is an outdoorsy incense, and I’m glad that IP can add another option to that category. There’s no pine or fir in it, but a number of people have said it gives them the impression of trees along with the incense; I think that may be the elemi and frankincense combined with the little touch of green from the oakmoss. The elemi does have some fresh aspects and a hint of lemon/citrus that probably contributes to that fresh woodsy feeling.

I’m wearing Fireside on my chest today, it smells soooo wonderful! I also have a few dabs of Incense pure on my wrists. I agree the elemi and frankincense give it that fresh outdoorsy pine aura. It’s unique and very pleasant.

Oooh, That reminds me to re-sample my Fireside! I loved it on the initial try, but so many other fragrances got in the way…

Laurie, Loved the post from yesterday – made me smile.

Hi Ann, the season for Fireside is just about over, in my part of the world anyway. I’ll wear Incense Pure in spring/summer, but I’ll put Fireside Intense away for the summer once the hot weather hits. It’s good to try your Fireside again now before it gets hot, lol!

I thought that picture yesterday was kind of funny with the juxtaposition of perfume and shop tools, but it actually works! ๐Ÿ™‚

Have a happy May Day weekend!

Hi Tara, you’re having a woodsy day! ๐Ÿ™‚ Glad you’re enjoying those. Thanks!

It’s still cool and blustery here, with occasional rain… still perfectly good Fireside weather. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Laurie says:

Yes, same here! We’ve not had much of a spring except for last weekend, which was beautiful. Mostly it’s been cool, breezy, and showery here too.
